Long Way From Home?
For long journeys, inter-continental stretcher service is available through the network of global airlines that Lifesupport Air Medical Services maintains direct commercial agreements with. We work on a daily basis with Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, Lufthansa, Air Canada and Emirates Airlines, just to name a few. If you or your family member is travelling by air ambulance, you will be under the care of one of our internationally accredited Critical Care Transport Teams. Our air ambulances are staffed with two highly qualified pilots, and a Critical Care Registered Nurse, partnered with a Paramedic or Respiratory Therapist, depending on your care need. Our Air Medical Case Managers will organize all of the ground ambulance transfers, both from your facility, and meet our air ambulance at the receiving airport. Our service is bed to bed and is managed each step of the way by our highly qualified and experienced Case Managers.
